While anti-NATO protestors were getting tear gassed in Strasbourg, France, the site of the NATO summit to mark the organization’s 60th anniversary, protestors carried out a peaceful anit-NATO rally in Athens, Greece.
About 700 people participated including members of the country’s left-wing movement along with radicals and anarchists.

All they are saying is give peace a chance.
That message reverberated throughout a peaceful anti-war rally which took place at the corner of University and Armoury in downtown Toronto, Saturday October 27.
Hundreds attended to protest the Afghanistan/Iraq wars and looming hostilities with Iran. Other groups with their own causes showed up as well representing issues [...]
